As your real estate agent, it is important to me that I
do more than just meet your expectations...I want to exceed them. I am
constantly anticipating the needs of my clients. That means I might:
pack a cooler of food and drinks for a relocating client who needs to
cover a lot of ground in a limited time; or send comparables to a buyer
who is deliberating about what to offer for a house; or take a
potential seller to view active comparables so that they can truly
understand the pricing of their home. I take great pride in providing a
service that my client may not have even recognized or articulated that
they actually need.
As a former Psychologist, I have found that my background translates
well into Real Estate. I recognize that even a seemingly "positive"
move is stressful and will do what I can to ease this transition. I am
an excellent listener. For a buyer, I will really pay attention to
their description of what they are looking for in an ideal home. I'll
preview inventory promptly and won't waste time showing those homes
that are not in line with my client's criteria. For a seller, I will
listen to what they have liked in their current home, and use this in
my marketing materials. When negotiating, I'll listen to the other
agent's covert communications and use these to my client's advantage. I
am also an effective and clear communicator and have absolute respect
for confidentiality. My clients know that they can trust me and that I
will always tell them the truth; even if it means losing a potential
deal.
I have lived in lower Fairfield County for 20+ years with my husband
and two daughters. This time has allowed me to appreciate the nuances
of the different towns. As a family, we have personally utilized many
of the amenities first-hand. Many of my clients continue to use me as a
personal resource for years after their closings. I can provide lists
of vendors, restaurants, where to shop, nursery schools, local doctors,
etc. It is quite typical for me to even provide guided tours to clients
who are new to this area. I enjoy this part of my job immensely.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors as well as our
local Mid-Fairfield Board of Realtors. I am a recipient of both the
Leading Edge and the President's Circle Awards and have consistently
made Honor's Circle. I am also a board member of SEPTA (Special
Education PTA) and our town's Gourmet Club. I am currently in the
process of starting a small wine tasting group, and am also a
participant of a local book club. I enjoy working out, socializing,
and MOST OF ALL MY JOB AS A REAL ESTATE AGENT.

-Being an Agent in not about how one looks; it is about how one performs
their job. My job is to market your home to look it's
best and to provide you with professionalism, knowledge and hard work. I
want to make your house "look good"-that's my priority.
- I will never share any of your
personal business with anyone.
-Being an Agent means being committed to your confidentiality. As a former
Psychologist, I am well aware of this concept and its importance.
- I will never take short cuts when
pricing your home.
-Being an Agent means doing a well-researched comparative market analysis
of your home. I take this process very seriously, and have a thorough
understanding of the market.
- I will never forget that selling
your home is a very personal, often stressful endeavor.
-Your home is a reflection of you, and I will always be cognizant of that
when providing feedback. Often moving is not something people have chosen.
In this difficult job market, many people have to make moves in order to
take a job that is available. Those who are upgrading or downsizing often
find much anxiety with the moving process. I will be there to assume as
much of this burden as is possible.
- I will never market your home by
using other people's words.
-Part of my role is to individualize your home and to strategize who the
most likely prospective buyers are. My marketing techniques should be
innovative and consistent with the above.
- I will not waste your time taking
you to see homes that don't meet your criteria.
-I will listen to you when you describe what you are looking for in a home
and will preview the inventory. If a home is not what you are looking for,
I will not take you to see it. Your time is valuable!
